Cowboys .. The Real Story PDF Print E-mail
Hazem Tayara - AlJazeera Talk - Atlanta, USA
Most people even the Americans look at the cowboys as Hollywood stars and as a part of the most exciting Movies in the cinema history.
But now there are some efforts not to change this image but adjust it, that what you will discover after Visiting the Booth Museum of the Western Art in Atlanta Georgia \USA.
The museum is trying to deliver the true story of those men (Cowboys).
Their story started after the end of the American Civil war witch toke place between (1861-1865) and since Atlanta witnessed the last scenes of that civil war, Men how were warriors at both sides and they became Jobless started to move from Atlanta and the surrounding areas to the west where more jobs is funded specially in raising huge caws hoards.

But they could not forget the horse riding and Guns holding witch they inherited from the long
years serving as warriors.
And what helped in establishing this methods in the New west lands, the government that was too young and it’s authorities still weak, so the cowboys developed a new life style of a man that he work so hard and is always able to protect him self.
That image aspire too many authors to write the most dramatic Stories about the west and the cowboys, in addition Painters were impressed with this image and the most magnificent paintings in the American painting history were about the west and the cow boys, you can see a lot of this
Art works in the museum.
A big museum brings you back to those days with a historical and romantic glance of young America and the people how established new life for them and for the next generations.
But as usual the picture is not hundred percent clean and romantic, because there was a victim and they were the Indian the native people of America.
The cowboys skated them from their own land which they lived on for thousands of years and no one memorizes the Indian as a victim even inside the museum you recognize the lack of history about those people, Because as we all know.
"History is written by the hands of victorious"
